New Testament Fulfilled:        Matthew 1:1 – <\/strong>\u201cThe book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the Son of David, the Son of Abraham.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the throne of David<\/u><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Old Testament Given:             Isaiah 9:7 \u2013 <\/strong>\u201cOf the increase of His government and peace there will be no end, upon the throne of David and over His kingdom…\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New Testament Fulfilled:        Luke 1:32,33 \u2013 <\/strong>\u201c…and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. And He will reign over the house of Judah forever…\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Born in Bethlehem<\/u><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Old Testament Given:             Micah 5:2 \u2013 <\/strong>\u201cBut you, Bethlehem, …though you are little among the thousands of Judah, ….out of you shall come the One to be ruler in Israel…\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New Testament Fulfilled:        Luke 2:4-7 —  <\/strong>\u201cAnd Joseph went up from Galilee…into Judea, to the city of David, Bethlehem, …with Mary, his betrothed wife…and she brought forth her first-born Son.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Born of a virgin<\/u><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Old Testament Given:             Isaiah 7:14 \u2013 <\/strong>\u201cBehold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son and shall call His name Immanuel.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

New Testament Fulfilled:        Luke 1:26-31 \u2013 <\/strong>\u201cThe virgin\u2019s name was Mary. …The angel said…behold you will conceive…and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Killing of children<\/u><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Old Testament Given:             Jeremiah 31:15 \u2013 <\/strong>\u201cThus says the Lord: A voice was heard in Ramah…Rachel weeping for her children.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
